THE SMOKE THAT STARTED EVERYTHING

Fyoom — in Arabic, it means the vapour that rises. The sacred smoke of oud chips warming over coal. The invisible thread between earth and sky, between tradition and the person wearing it. That image of something ancient becoming air is what this house is built on.

It began in 2018, not in a laboratory, not in a classroom, but in the way all real fragrance obsessions begin: with a single scent that stopped me completely. From that moment, the world reorganised itself around fragrance. Bottles accumulated. Then oils. Then the deep rabbit hole of oud — Hindi, Cambodian, Trat each one a different dialect of the same ancient language.

For years, this was personal. A private world of wood and resin and smoke. But fragrance was never meant to be kept to oneself. People would smell something on me and ask. Friends would linger. Family would request bottles. Slowly, what I had learned about sourcing, about quality, about the difference between genuine oud and imitation needed a home.

The Fyoom was born in 2025 as that home. An Indian house rooted in the traditions of the subcontinent and the Arabian Peninsula, offering natural oils, pure ouds, and incense to those who understand that fragrance is not decoration it is memory, identity, and in its oldest forms, a form of prayer.

We are not a large operation. Every product is chosen deliberately. Every oud oil is what we say it is. Every blend is built to last and to move. If you have found your way here, you already know what you are looking for. We are simply here to help you find it.
